Handrails

I would like to have a wall mounted handrail fitted on my staircase but I am finding it difficult to find someone to do it. Would it be best to try some local carpentry/jointing firms? (I would rather it was done properly than have a go myself) Also, how much is it likely to cost?

If you know what you want (shape, wood, style etc) and you can't find it at a DIY-store, it's best to contact a local carpenter/joiner.
He/she can tell you best what the costs would be, we don't know
