Hi,

We have a 13kg mirror to hang on our wall. It's brick construction, with plaster on top.

We're planning to use screws and rawl plugs but aren't sure what's best on the back of the mirror - picture wire or picture cord.

Any advice appreciated.

Deffo use wire!

Apart from the peace of mind, cord will stretch and 'bounce' making it more difficult to hang it just where you want it.

Even think about using mirror plates, it is what I use for anything heavy that I don't want swinging about if people brush past it.
