Just bought this mirror

http://www.e-furnitureplus.co.uk/pr...d=394&osCsid=52a037560fc249b01ccf0dcf7594c1ff

It comes with no fixings and has a flat back. It weighs 25KG, and suggestions on best way to hang it?

I previously had a mirror there, not as heavy, so in the wall now is an 8mm hook (rawl bolt type).

I could use the D type fittings i've seen (similar to the ones you get with a fire place surround.

Would these be good enough?

Thanks for any suggestions

My ex-wife has a similar mirror (wooden frame, rather heavy) and I used four 38mm mirror brackets (two top,two bottom - all about 100 mm in from corners) and drilled/plugged wall, fastened with 8 x 2" screws - solid as anything!!

Only problem was that it took four of us to hold it level and mark the holes :(
