Humm, am presuming the titles are vertical on the front of the house. I have used 2 ways to get the discard out...

1, mark the tile from inside, push the tile froward and remove the tile then drill it on the floor, refit the tile , stick your blow off out

2, 25mm diamond core bit and let the core do the work don't press to hard or the tile will crack.

Drilling vertical hanging tiles in-situ can be a very tricky business indeed.
Because you are in essence drilling down on two fixed tiles its very easy to crack the under tile.
Remember that all vertical tiles are double/fully nailed - or should be.
There are all kinds of silicone glue on jobs - but thats well risky/irresponsible.
Bent copper tingles will work but still a risk.

Depending on how close you are to an upper abutment like a soffit or frame then it might be better to lift the tiles down from the abutment to the tile in question.
Then remove and drill it - but its a lot of work, & can go dire if you crack a tile with no spares available.

There was a tile Mfr. who sold specials precisely for pipes and fixings etc - but I dont recall who they were or if they are still out there.
