I have a hansgrohe shower pump fitted in the house I've recently moved into. Whilst the cold water pressure/flow is excellent, the hot water pressure is awful and sometimes gets so low that you'd think the pump was switched off. Its also very noisy too - I'm sure it should be as loud as it currently is.

However, I cant find anywhere that sells these pumps? Does anyone know of anywhere where you can buy them, or would a plumbers shop be able to overhaul it?

Also, what does positive head mean - that the cold water tank is above the pump?

Thanks

Didn't know they did pumps! SOunds cream crackered though. Check your plumbing isn't all wrong though (see eg Stuart Turner site or http://www.bathroomexpress.co.uk/shop_tec_qtinstall.htm for instructions), and that the HW isn't above about 60º, which could lead to noise and not much flow.

+ve head means the header tank is above the shower outlet, (not the pump)

my hansgrohe recently expired. when i rang them i was told that my particular one was made by a company which went bust a few years ago. but their current supplier is a co. called Stuart Turner. Hansgrohe helpline no. is 08707701972
