This brings a huge smile to my face:

It never ceases to amaze me how children are thrilled by such small things.

Like my youngest, "Daddy, can I sit on your knee and play the cow game?"

This is where I pretend to be a bucking bronco and he has to stay on as long as possible.

My middle boy, "Daddy can you do "rub on back" for me?"

Where I cuddle up to him in bed & rub his back as he drifts off.

And my eldest, "Dad, can you ask me some really hard sums?" or, "Tell me a letter and I'll think of all the countries beginning with that letter".

I love that they are both hungry to learn and play and that they are satisfied by such simple games. No need for TV, DS's etc...

I am a very lucky, happy Dad.

Oh to be a child again.
Life was so much simpler then.

Enjoy it for as long as you can mate, it all passes so soon.

They are at the height of their learning capacity and what's beautiful is that you are there and able to enjoy it with them. Enjoy every minute of it.

When they hit their teens, there will be a million and one distractions.

I love your post securespark. With all the horror etc. in the world, it's nice to be reminded of what's really important in life. They're obviously great kids and you and your wife are equally obviously great parents to have produced them :D
