Hi All

The wooden weatherboard on our house has seen better days, and not been painted or replaced for donkeys! (we only moved here a few years ago)

Looking to strip it all off and replace with Hardie Plank.

At present it's only the 1st floor of the house that's cladded, the ground floor is brick / rendered.

There is a plastic profile that sits over the brick and under the cladding. What should I replace this with? I can't see how I could use the airstrip that hardie plank recommend to use along the bottom?

Would you also recommend using the top air vent strip?

Thanks in advance.
