Im about to start Cladding the top half of our house using Hardie boards. A few questions please does anyone have any photos of a house with all the battens on and fixed before the cladding has begun mainly around windows and doors?
Fixings: The Batten will be using will be 25x50mm I was planning on fixing these into the Solid 7.5N Blocks with Concrete screws would this be ok or would frame fixings be easier what's preferred?
Will be fixing the battens to the wall using my SDS plus drill with so many holes to be drilled in the battens do people pre drill the batten as an SDS masonry drill bit I imagine wont be cut out to well for going through timber also so much?
