Has anyone in power got any balls?

Nigel Farage's only relevant policy at the moment is eu withdrawal.

Similar to Churchills policy of non appeasement too the warmongers of europe in the 1930's.

Dreamers like big tone are what has allowed this country to be taken over by foreign powers at the moment.
And the sad part is that despite the evidence it is not working they still want further integration.

Only when those powers are taken back will this country have autonomy again.
Then we can trade on a united playing field again as we did for centuries.

Let the warmongers do what they want. They always did and always will.
The traders will continue to work together regardless off creed.

As for the dreamers they would be better not having any say at all in the running of this country.
History has certainly taught us that!

Big Tone mentions America. The "United" States of America.
And just look at the (dying) monster it is today and Big Tone wants to create another one!

I actually want us to be a United States of Europe and think it is in our best interest - long term!

I take it , you don't mind Angela Merkel dictating what the British have to do then? You really don't mind obeying Mein Fuhrer Merkel?
The EU is a slowly dying beast. Look at the problems faced by most EU countries today Greece , Spain and others are on the verge of financial collapse. Even the German people object to the amount of financial aid, Germany is contributing to these (almost) bankrupt countries.
My personal view is that the population voted to sign up for the Common Market way back in the 70's. I'm sure, they didn't vote to join what the EU has become. The only countries who now want to join the EU are the poor cousins of Europe. I'm absolutely sure, if we had a referendum tomorrow, the public would vote a resounding NO.

This all assumes I agree with Nigel's core argument, which is a stumbling point for me. I actually want us to be a United States of Europe and think it is in our best interest - long term!

In the same way America is united by a common currency and armed force I think Europe should unite to become 'one'. Ideally, one day, I would hope for a united world, but that's fantasy for a long time after I am dead sadly.

Europe will never unite to become 'one', let alone the world. Never in a million years. We are all too different and each country want to look after 'number one' - and quite rightly too.

The Euro was supposed to be a common currency, wasn't it? Look what's happening to that.

I am still not averse to having a European common market - a free trade organisation. I will never support giving away our sovereignty to others, however. I get fed up of hearing about how we can't do this and can't do that any more - things we have always done and have found perfectly safe and acceptable - just because some bureaucrat in Brussels has decided it is 'in the best interest of Europe' or because it will result in 'harmonisation'.

Spot on, but even if they had voted to join a political union there would still be a good argument for a new referendum. Seeing as a lot of the people who voted then are now dead and no longer affected by the mess.
Whereas a lot of the ones who are weren't around to vote in the first one.

Remember too that the European Parliament , have not had their accounts signed off for donkey's years, because no accountant trusts them to be correct.

Re the only countries that want to join the EU. You forgot Alex Salmond, he wants independence from UK and the be part of the United States of Europe, what does he get out of it, I'll wager he's after a big fat pay check.

Ah specifically left Alex Salmonheid out of the equation. Nowt but a time and resource waster. He had this great idea of givin 16 yr aulds the right to vote in the independence election. Now seems even this is going a wee bit pear shaped for him,, with around 60% saying they'd vote NO.

Yes, I'd always thought of Alex Salmon to be a bit of a self-serving prat. I'm sure, though, that after the referendum is held and Scotland remains part of the UK he'll have made suitable provision for his well-being. All politicians are good at that.

Well hang on a minute, before you dis me to the max.. (Which I fully expect).

The world is not the same – fact! It is a ‘global village’ these days – fact! Throughout mankind’s very sordid history we have fought and found divisions in race, colour and creed – fact! We have fought, killed, raped, pillaged, murdered, ethnic cleansing – whatever term you want to use, we have done it all – fact! And it still goes on today – fact! Sounds like democracy, which has been around for a long time, is working well so far - yes?

Oh oh, hang on! Let's bring our democracy more up to date.. Bush and Blair lead a couple of countries which kicked some ass. Good job eh? Do I really need to expand on that ‘democratic' decision?

So long as we look at our differences and think, a crout is always a crout, a frog is always a frog: you’re a wop, a ch1nk, a n1ger... You will never have peace - EVER - so long as you think in this way.

Last time I looked, this is 2013 and I’d hoped we had come on since those dark days. If someone thinks the way forward is by creating or maintaining divisions and thinking “But don’t forget I am superior because I’m part of the British Empire don’t you know” we are doing exactly what we have done for centuries, just like every other proud nation has done and failed to maintain! Fact! (The reign of dinosaurs makes us look like amateurs BTW  )

Yes - most nations are if not patriotic, at least wouldn’t want their motherland sent to oblivion! And so the answer, (I’m getting here), is to keep these divisions in place and think of every other nation as ‘The Enemy’? That’s the answer is it? What every dumb human in power and their followers have done since we shed our simian shell or God/Aliens planted us here? Yes, keep distancing ourselves from them ‘bloody foreigners’ and if they don’t understand us just beat them until they do! (While they do or think the same of us).

We are still no more than barbarians, with better tools, unless we understand history, people, cultures and try not to repeat it. America is no more than a blip on the radar of mankind’s CV, (resume’). Britain did it and many before us. America has had a ‘good’ run. China next?

If you keep doing what you have always done you will keep getting what you have always had – fact! But hey ho – let’s teach them bloody foreigners who’s boss... (And let our grandchildren pick up the pieces, like every other nations grandchildren)

Interesting rant but completely irrelevant.
The fact is the eu is falling to bits right before our very eyes.

The politicians deceived the people in order to acheive their dream.

Had they told the truth at the beginning and let the people decide then we would have had no part in the eu.

But of course we would have fallen into an economic black hole never to have returned acording to the dooms mongers.
The moral of the story is never ever trust the dreamers.

Why don't you just pull out the racist card and be done with it?

Seems to be the only argument you have left.

"Who started the war anyway?" (JC).

It was YOU who extrapolated it to a Germanic analogy. I'll give you 10 points if you can show me where?

Another 999,990 and I'll post you an mp3 player of Mein Kampf.

This is one of your unelected leaders. Do you trust him?
Do you even know his name?
At least the yanks get the chance to vote theirs in.
