Have used Valspar Premium mixers all over the house since 2017, excellent paint. In May used Kitchen & Bathroom, white, soft sheen (not a mixer) with no problems, though it took 3 coats to cover a mid shade lilac (as we might have expected).
Now we have Kitchen & Bathroom Premium (again, not a mixer), white, soft sheen. The 'changed' bit is the addition of the word Premium on the tin. This time, for the first time, it looks pretty patchy after 2 coats, only covering a very light cream so didn't expect the patchy look.
Have Valspar changed the 'ingredients', I've subsequently seen a lot of 1* reviews done this year, surprised because this is the first problem we've had. Is it no longer a 'go to' paint?
