Have You Seen This Elephant?

He responds to the name of Eddie and has been lost since June.

I'm desperate to find him as quickly as possible.

I think I may have seen him in the Royal Oak in Winchester about three weeks ago. He was having lunch and a glass of wine with a very lovely pink rabbit just a short distance from where we were sitting. I don't know where they went after lunch but he had a huge smile on his face.

Heard a rumour they had gone on to the Warren Club.

Think he intends staying a while as he had a trunk with him.
And the rabbit was hopping around all over him.

I thought Eddie was an Eagle? and came on here to give plastering advice?

But saying that, that Elephant does look like the one I saw putting out fires with the local fire brigade. Call 999 and ask if they know where Eddie is, I'm sure they will be able to help you as they have plenty of time on their hands.

I could have said police van, but that is what they are known as round here.

I don't know the origin of the word.

Well, the police released me at 1400, but there's no sign of Eddie and they've checked with the Brigade and they don't know where he is now.
