he30 problem

isar he30 keeps goin off at will, lcd displays a 0 and 3 horizontal lines. usually works after switching off then back on but sometimes takes a few goes. been told it could be the pcb but as im not a plumber need 2nd opinion

3 horizontal lines means its overheated,check system pressure ok,pump, poss slow,if it does it when on DHW could be phex restricted,check non trv rad approx 10% boiler capacity.
 
sometimes the 3 lines can mean a pcb the big one at the back to the display pcb has had a communication error.

there is a way to check and thats to rehome the connection.

Over heat should be a H A code on the display "Temp in H e/X > 100c"
as per ideals Engie book
if this happens when the boiler has been idle its not overheat but double check the fault code i am in hull at ideals factory for training so i can and will double check
