he35 boiler error msg

my boiler doesn't seem to kick in and comes up with L 8 what does it mean its an ideal he35 combi boiler

The fault code is in the book. Unless your registered you cannot change this part.
It must be fitted by an RGI. This appliance has positive pressure and it is vital that combustion is correctly tested.

Have you pressed reset button? L8 is a fan error,either going to be pcb or the fan faulty

If you desperate, find a friend with the same boiler and borrow the PCB board and swap them to see what happens, you should be legal to do that.

Is nominal 330v DC present across red and blue at the fan connector as reset button is pressed?
