We are building an extension and the kitchen will be approx 32m sq. We have wall space for 2 radiators on opposite sides of the room and are worried that the room will not be particularly warm, especially when not cooking - any advice on how to work it out / tell / experience.

Also thinking that installing a wet underfloor heating might be a good idea but have had quotes of approx £2k - does that seem reasonable?

Thanks in advance

i have no experience myself but it may be worth contacting a firm that supplies ufh materials.

if you give them your proposed plans etc they will design the ufh system & give you a price for materials. i assume they will require the details of your present arrangement so as they can determine its suitability.

once you accept their quote, they will provide you with the design & you can arrange quotations to fit it.
