Im building my own extension. And im contemplating having electric or wet underfloor heating

For wet UFH would do i need additional radiators to keep the room cosy. Its a large room about 60sqm

I realy dont want to go down installing UFH and it strugles to heat the room

Any advice welcome

Assuming you extention is built to current regs wet underfloor is perfect.
If you send a copy of your drawings to any of major underfloor suppliers (we are polypipe registered contractors)
You will receive a design layout and list of required materials f o c.

Thanx exedon

Yes the extension will be built comply with building regs. Probably over insulate it

No. It's possible to create houses that are cosy yet have no formal heating system at all. Equally it's possible to create houses that have a massive boiler, a gas bill that is 5 figures annually and are still cold and miserable to live in

The quality of your insulation and air tightness detailing is more important than the type of heat emitter you have
