A neighbour had a heat sensitive light switch fitted in their bathroom,
this gismo was fitted in the wall and then tiled over, so just putting your hand on the tile turns the light on and off,
Has anyone ever fitted one of these!
How reliable are they!
Are they difficult to fit!
Where would i get it from

cheers albag

Are you sure its heat sensitive, it would take a few minutes for hand heat to transfer through a tile.
What temp is the switch set for ie winter maybe bathroom 15 summer 25.
Far to many variables

It's a proximity switch - They do work. They will go wrong eventually like any other electronic equipment. I have seen them in several magazines, but never fitted one.

thanks for the reply guys,
does anyone know anyone whos as fitted one of these!
where would i get on from!
cheers al
