I have just moved into a new place, where a concord wrs boiler is fitted... yes i know its old!!!

the problem i have has only come to light in the last few weeks when we have turned off the heating. when the timer switch is set for hot water only, the radiators still get hot. I have looked for the three way valve but cant find one.. should there be one fitted? I know combi boilers are self contained, but this is a normal system with hot water tank.

any ideas???

thanks in advance

Hmmm... now that you mention it... i think it is probably gravity fed hot water.... and pumped heating... my reasoning behind this is that there is two 22mm pipes going up to hot water tank, but what looks like it is coming out of the bottom of the boiler is a 15mm pipe directly into the pump.

is that good or bad !!! :)
