Best way to heat a loft room, prefer not to extend central heating.
Does 1 need much heat would a couple of convector heaters do, or should I look at some form of storage heater.
What about in the summer does it get unbearably hot will it need aircon.
Your views appreciated.

If the roof slopes are uninsulated it will lose a vast amount of heat (more than the rest of the house put together. I once had an uninsulated 12' square room, on a frosty night 3kw heater couldn't keep it warm. After insulating, a 750w heater could, and turned itself off on the thermostat.

You say loft room ?
As in bedroom/play room/storage,
In summer if your loft conversion is done corrected it should be cool, and in winter it should be quite warm

It will be done to regs. I just wanted to put any aditional cabling in before it gets covered in insulation and floor boards, then find that the room is to hot or cold to use.
