Heating Internet Switch

I don't want an AI type, do everything gadget. Just something that will get my underfloor heating going prior to me getting to the property well in advance?
Hive and Nest look too expensive and swanky for my liking, I just need a web connected switch to start up my system six hours before I turn up

IN the absence of anything proprietary being mentioned, are you techy at all?
A rasberry pi or arduino interfaced to a relay and your network can do this easily, you may have to do some programming though
(Although I bet someone else has already done it).

I use energenie mihome, they do a relay MHO014 I don't think you would want that one as you need to buy an expensive hub to go with it, but I think there are others that do the same sort of thing.
