Hi there,

First time here so apologies if stupid questions.

I have a Baxi gas central heating fire and back boiler with a pumped CH gravity HW system. This is controlled with a Wickes timer/programmer on the lounge near the chimney breast about 4 foot from the fire. We have thermostat valves on each radiator except bathroom, but no main heating thermostat in the house.

Getting to question now. . .

Is there a similar controller/programmer that has a room thermostat built in?

Many thanks,

Adam

The Danfoss Unit you mention will do the trick. But in the room where you put the temperature sensor, you must either change TRV for a wheel valve or remove the TRV head or set the TRV to Max. If you don't the one which is set to the lower temperature (TRV or wall thermostat) will control the room temperature. If this is the TRV then the boiler will run continuously trying to reach an unobtainable temperature.
