Hi,
Just wanted some advice really, recently moved into a new build house and am having some problems with the heating system (at least I think I am) I just want to make sure before I approach the Bryant Homes customer care.
Right, my heating / water system involves a hot water tank in the airing cupboard, boiler in the kitchen with electronic timer sperate situated underneath and a thermostat in the hallway (not sure if any of this matters). I have set the timers for both the hot water and heating (seperate programmes) but was wondering if when I turn my thermostat up shoudl my heating automatically turn on? Because this is what happens and it stays on for as long as the thermostat is turned up, surely I should be able to have the thermostat turned up but the heating should not come on until due with the timer? So I have to keep the thermostat turned down so its not on all day whilst I am out but then this means it doesnt come on with the timer meaning its not hot when I get home from work / get up in the morning and I have to turn it on manually!
Any ideas or am I just being stupid?
