We've got a fairly standard water tank system at home. Regular boiler, tank in the airing cupboard which is "pressurised" by the water tank in the loft.

The bathrooms however are in need of replacing, but one of them has an electric shower, and one has a "power shower" with an inbuilt pump. The main bathroom just has a wand which is gravity fed.

The system is about 25y old now, apart from the boiler that was replaced a few years ago.

When we do the bathrooms, I'd rather not have an electric shower or power shower for "moderness" , however I'd also like to stay away from shower pumps. The power shower is 8m away from the tank, and for some reason, the pipework is plumbed so the pipes go from the tank, back into the loft, across and back down.

Is there anything in terms of the tank, that can replace the need for pumping the showers?

Unvented cylinder or a thermal store is a possibility depending on incoming mains pressure/ flow
Thought as much. If the mains pressure isn't great, is there a way to increase it, even if temporarily whilst water is being drawn off.

I'd assume you can pump the mains, but unsure if there's some sort of buffer mechanism to apply extra pressure for a period of time
