Hello
I have Worcester heatslave 2. It gets up to temperature then keeps going, eventually discharging water.
PRV checked, flat plate exchanger changed, expansion vessel checked.
What could be causing it to get out of control? The boiler is 5 years old, do thermistors go?

I have no idea why your boiler is getting over excited but thermistors, like any other electronic component do go. They can go open or short circuit, usually open circuit though.

Would it suggest that's the case? Boiler runs but always overheats?

If it‘s discharging water the sounds like you have an expansion issue - you say it’s been checked, by who and how? Could be circulating pump, could be thermistors, could be blockage, could a few other things, why not get an engineer in to have a look, or Worcester on a fixed price repair?

That boiler comes with a 7 year warranty so call Worcester out to it (they call it a guarentee)
