Height of sockets in extension.

Sorry to ask this, as this may have been asked before. Currently building an extension and before I get the sparks in I was going to case the sockets. Does the 450mm min and 1200mm max from the floor still apply or is that for new builds only.

...but there is a lot to be said for following the current standards. people are getting used to them and think low sockets look odd.

the new heights are also more convenient
