I've just joined so thought I would say hello, and tell you a little about me and what I'm doing
I work as an engineering, but it's all sitting infront of a computer. So I really enjoy the hands on aspects of DIY around my house, and have helped a number of friends complete projects.
Over the years I done a little of electrics (changing light fittings, wiring in shower pumps, fused spurs etc), plumbing (fitted new bathroom, replaced radiators etc) and the general DIY type things (painting, laminate flooring etc)
I'm currently planning on doing a lot of work on my house over the next year or two. Nothing really major, but I'm sure I will be asking loads of questions on here for things I haven't done before.. In particular attacking the garden, and trying to get my hand around what I can now do on the electrics with Part P. My first question on that will appear very shortly.
Anyway, that's enough about me for now.
