Help about a "Bosh RD 532 Combi"

hello there,
i would like some immediate help about my boiler. The central heating works fine but there is no hot water throughout the house. The pressure gauge is constantly pointing towards the 3 or higher mark and the boiler makes loud banging sound when the safety value goes off. When we don't use the taps for a couple of hours and turn on the taps, then there is hot water for about 10-30 seconds but changes to cold water again.

i would be very grateful if anyone could help me out because i take a shower every morning before go to work but i have been taking cold showers for the past 2days.

Easy - stop having showers.

Check the pressure vessel (FAQ) and the pump and the water flow sensor. I haven't looked it up...

This sounds like a British Gas worcester combi.

I am rather amused by the description that the CH 'works fine' but the pressure rises and the safety valve lifts. That is not working fine.

My guess is that it has been doing this for some time and the OP has been refilling it regularly.

Now the HW has packed up - and a repair is needed immediately!

How long has the pressure valve been lifting and the system been refilled?

It is, one of their series which had 32, 37 and 42kW models. Doesn't quite line up with standard Worcs range I think.
Parts match GREENSTAR 12I 15I 24I eh?
I wonder if this is the one which took some BG employees' fingers off?

well the pressure gauge started to act up about a week ago. when i manually release the pressure from the pressure gauge a whole load of hot water comes through an outside pipe connected to the pump. it is a BG boiler and had it installed only 3 years ago.

will it be a major job to undertake?

the rd532 is a greenstar he7-27 with different badges.

as others have suggested the expansion vessel, fill loop, and prv need looking at.
