Hi,

I have a British Gas RD 532 combi boiler and have never had an issue it is 3-4 years old. Coming up to winter I turned the heating on and the boiler did not make a sound and the radiators did not heat up at all.

The hot water is still running and the shower is fine and whenever taps are turned on the boiler makes the usual sound that it is working and hot water runs out quickly.

I'm wondering whether this is to do with the diverter valve or something more serious.

If anyone could help with what this could be and usual cost to get this repaired - call out and repair cost

Thanks

Could be the pump. But are you sure there is demand for the heating to come on? Look at the thermostat first.
