Help and advice needed

Hi All.
Just need some advice if anyone can help.
Just paid to have roof repairs done including dry verge, both eaves and chimney pointing.

The roof is a Marley Wessex tile and property was built 1972.

Chimney has been pointed with lime, no cement. Now cracked and coming away. Roofer was adamant due to age of property it needed lime. Is this right?

Dry ridge system is a cheap European Plastics universal kit, after he said he uses only quality products. Tiles are loose, misaligned and clips are coming out. Been in loft and battens are crooked, split and can find any braces/brackets on the battens.

Felt is hanging over the end of the eaves tiles even though we've had EPS fitted. He said it's the tiles that are too short.

Dry verge caps are crooked and loose and he said the roof extends too far as he can't get them straight.

He has said he will fix the list of snagging but it will invalidate his guarantee as the way we believe it should be done is incorrect?

We are mortified and so worried. I'm trying to find a roofer/surveyor to come and physically check.

Unfortunately yes as part of his terms it was due on completion. All seemed ok but now we realise things aren't right.

Trust me, we are mortified and is causing so much stress and arguments in the home.

I'm just at a loss.

It seemed fine from ground level but I'm certainly not climbing a ladder to get on the roof.
These issues have only been noted when my gutters were cleaned last week.
And when they appear reputable, have good reviews seem very genuine and I also checked Companies House, what were we supposed to do.
Was just asking for advice not judgement.

@Sasharoo22 Blimey, what breed of horse did he arrive on, a totter's cart horse?
The lesson here is always retain some of the agreed fee for at least a month so you can allow defective work to become evident.
