Help boiler playing up and missus moaning no hot water

Hi i have a rehema avanta 12v boiler which is playing up since the header tank in my loft was moved. the system was drained and re-filled and bled and seemed ok for a couple of days then started playing up

Whatever i try to bleed or look at all looks ok the 2 way valve is diverting water the right way, the pump is running but the boiler will only run for about 1 min after firing up then shut down wait about 5 mins then try again and do the same. This is the same on water or heating or both

First things first.

If the missus has done nothing to solve the problem other than moan.

Tell her to stop fricking moaning and do something about it .

Normally shuts mine up when something needs fixing and I have been too busy to fix it

Thankfully i can also cook when the need arises

Sadly the next suggestion i have is that the feed from the header tank is blocked and there isn't enough water to circulate. Search for "blocked feed" and see if the symptoms and solutions match.

Not something to fix on a Friday night.

Attach hose pipe to drain valve with a jubilee clip and force some water in there until the header tank starts to overflow.

Have you checked pump valves are both open and bled the pump from the central screw?

Certainly sounds like air in the system.

Was the "two way" valve locked open in the MAN position when the system was refilled? If it isn't locked open water may not get into the heating side.

Incidentally, do you mean a valve like that on the left or that on the right?
