Help butchering a kitchen cabinet to accommodate pipework?

I'm fitting our new kitchen next week and looking for some advice on how to fit a new cabinet around the under sink pipework (see pic below).

As you can see the water mains comes in through the base of the current cabinet. There's also cutouts at the back of the cabinet for hot/cold feeds, a waste and a garden tap.

My initial thought was to cut the new cabinet as marked in red on the photo. I was also thinking i may not bother fitting the backboard on the new cabinet. I'm guessing it will just be a thin, flimsy mdf panel so shouldnt server any structural purpose to the cabinet? I suppose i could add some timber braces if needed.

Does this sound sensible or is there a better way to go about doing this?

You could reconfigure pipes so only the mains tap is in view the rest set against the wall behind the rear panel and then the waste thru back panel with similar hole for hot and cold .
I would replace the clamp on WM fitting as they are prone to leakage And run pipe behind WM , one less under the sink.

do you have isolation valves for the washers etc? Might be worth putting them in if you've changing things.
I hate pipes hidden behind kitchen cabinet walls. Means that any work in the future requires you to dismantle the unit, or drill and hope ...

Dont see logic in that since you have to make a hole in backboard before you drill wall so you could see any obstruction?
