Help! CH boiling if one radiator turned off

Hi,
can anyone help with this. My ch system is working fine except if i turn off one particular radiator. As it cools down, i get loud banging & what i think is boiling in the pipes. as soon as i switch it on agian everything is fine. The radiator concerned does not have a thermostatic valve on, but all others in the house have.
