Help extension with old scaffolding poles

    Hi can anyone tell me why these old scaffolding poles would be attached to an
    extension and into the neighbours house.. I'm interested in the house but have some concerns these in particular as no other house has them if anyone has any thoughts I'd really appreciate it as I'd also be interested in getting them removed thank you

    Could be for access to roof when boarded, seen scaffold across conservatory before (permanent) for maintenance, looks ugly though.

    Looks to be a smaller diameter pipe inside the one scaffold pole

    Thanks all someone else has mentioned to me that it could of been for access too.. not the best to look at, hoping it is something like that so that I take it down without the house falling down lol

    We have but have had two different answers I think maybe it was like that when they had it so they are not sure themselves unfortunately

    The nearest one looks more like a pipe with a bigger pipe over it. I would want to see in whats on the inside at that location.
