Afternoon Lads,

Myself and my neighbour (big strong girls ha ha) are trying to fit a metal bay window pole.

The pole itself has 3 brackets with screw and raw plug fixings.

We are trying to fit them in the ceiling of the flat roof bay, but cannot locate the timber joists, and the existing holes for which previous track hung do not fix well either.

Please can anybody tell me if there are special fixings we can buy (ie rawplugs that expand for hollow fixings, like u can for studwork walls)

Cheers Lads

Lolly.

available in any good diy store / shed

you make hole in wall / ceiling poke them in Tighten them up, then you can take bolt out to fix what you like (pole in your case) you may also want to get some washers too
