Hi Guys,

I am after some advise on installing a Nest Heatlink.

Below is a photo of my current wires that go into my Danfoss thermostat that i will be replacing.

Am I correct in thinking that i should wire it up as follows -

3 neutral wires go into Nest neutral.
2 live wires go into Nest live.
The wire that is currently in number 3 (hot water on) goes into Nest 6
The wire that is currently in number 4 (Heating on) goes into Nest 3
I then have to run a wire from live to 2 on the nest and then from 2 to 5. (commons)
But what do I do with the Earth Wires?

Wires 5 and 6 in the Danfoss are for the sensor which I will use for the Nest thermostat.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Chris

That's about it. Usually folks miss the live link to 2 & 5

The earth wires go in the earth terminal, third from the right

It would be correct to use wire with brown insulation to show that they are lives. 0.5mm2 or 0.75 mm2 would be adequate.
