Hi to all friendly helpers on this site & a happy new year!

I am new to the forum and have been browsing for a wile now it is nice to see folk helping each other & I am hopping someone will help/point me in the right direction so here goes the question.

Q1.
I have a britony system plus 100 boiler, there is no flue kit with it and I cant find any supplier on the net if any one knows where I can get one please help.

Q2.
I have a britony 2t normal hot water boiler which has been running for years without problems I want to keep this for hot water, but want a separate boiler for CH heating will the britony system plus 100 be ok for heating only I will run about 7 radiators.

Any help with the above questions greatly appreciated

Many thanks

mo

Don't know if the flue for this is still available. You could try parts center, or failing that Chaff themselves.

The boiler will be ok for just rads, but it is OTT for just 7 rads though

ott 7 radiators? what do you mean by that....

also when i try to go onto there website i get directed to ariston webpage.

thanks

100,00 btu's for 7 rads is way more than you will need with average size rads in an average sized property.

i have 3 bedroom house room sizes are:

living room 12 sqmtr
kitchen 10 sqmtr
bedroom 9 sqmtr
bedroom 6 sqmtr
bedroom 7.5 sqmtr

bathroom 3.5 sqmts

what would you reccomend how many raditors and what boiler

many thanks

Well without working it out precisely, in which case I would need more detail than you have provided, I would think that a 15Kw boiler should suffice.

is there any reason why i should not put in a boiler with higer output than i need...

say i need a 15kw and i put a 28kw, will this be costing me more to run or does it not matter ?

Chaffoteaux is owned by Ariston MTS.

A combi usually has a larger CH output then you need, some models can be range rated eg: have a maximum output preset.
