I am trying to hang a wall hung toilet and it just seems impossible. I can't get my hand to the bolts to even put the nuts on. Any tricks I'm missing?

Checked the height and I have installed correctly and certainly no other parts or instructions with the unit! Anny help appreciated, I'm really stuck!

As far as I can see its just a bog standard toilet,;) get someone with smaller hands and a rachet ring spanner to tighten up the nuts.

Shouldn't you be tiling before you hang it and how are you going to align the surface with the ply board?

I was going to test hang the toilet, fix the ply and the remove it for tiling. Would this not work?

The threaded rod is sticking out too far but I assume you already know that, cant see why you cant get the nuts on.

I'm assuming the ply is to reinforce/spread the load on the plasterboard? Is that bit of ply an exact template of the loo? How do you plan to seal the loo to the tiles, with this on top? Assuming the bolts go in to something solid to take the weight of the loo. Personally I'd have put the reinforcement underneath the plasterboard all the way along or used ply instead of plasterboard.

Small hands and 2 joints between the wrist and elbow:unsure: Or maybe cut an access panel in the chipboard floor so a normal arm can get - elbow under the floor and arm up the void of the pan  unless there's a joist in the way - then you're fooked.

OK making progress, my 8 year old son has small enough hands to do the bolts up hand tight but I still need to get a spanner on to tighten it up fully. I have an 18mm ring spanner but it but there isn't enough swing on it to tighten. I suppose
