I have just fitted a triton vitino mixer shower only to find that the water temperature is either boiling hot or ice cold. I am very confused as I took my partners old shower of anf connected it to the same pipes. She then informed me thay the old shower did the same before it broke. How can I fix this without ripping tiles off and getting to.the pipes? Please help.

Hot & Cold Pipes Reversed, find out where they are and repipe. Could be under the bath, or if the bathroom is on first floor could be in the loft.
I agree with michele5041. I had exactly the same problem with the shower mixer in our caravan (which we had been advised to remove for winter). I couldn't work it out at all until --

Sure enough, I'd put the thing on backwards.
Maybe you've done the same or, as michele5041 says, the pipes have always been wrong.
