Hi all you DIY experts. I have a problem with my hot water system ever since I drained my system to fit a new radiator in a bathroom.
My boiler is in the garage and my hot water tank is in the upper floor of my house.
The central heating is fine with all radiators heating up ok.
The problem is when I have the hot water selected on its own or with the central heating. There is a loud clanging noise coming from the pipes near the hot water tank area and there never seems to be much hot water available. The bath water also appears to be slightly brown in colour which never happened before.
I suspect the hot water tank has an air lock but there doesn't appear to be a bleed valve anywhere.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
