Help - I need one of these :/

danfoss and altech TRV's both come with both reducer sets in them, i mistyped BES description, it should have said 15 x 8, part number is correct, im sure you will get something in B&Q at the gas fire section

Why is none of this on the shelf of my bloody B&Q

OK, this one will make you giggle.

The reducer is going to be soldered onto a vertical pipe. SO my question is can the reducer be soldered vertically - will the solder travel up to the joint or will it just run away from the joint ?

You're just asking for a facetious reply now. Have you not noticed that every plumber takes the pipe off the wall and turns it upside down to sweat the vertical joints?

Seriously though the solder is drawn into the fitting by capillary action which will work in any orientation. Just make sure you clean it and flux it properly before hand.

Just the answer I was after. Many thanks.
