Help / ideas - paint (small) concrete section of loft floor

Hi, see pic attached.

I was planning on painting the wood (not the amtico)!

Do you think it is possible to paint over the small concrete infill section also? Does anyone have any recommendations for filler / best approach to painting over?

you could just fill cracks prime and paint. or rip up and start with fresh wood or concrete.
a lot depends on traffic.

You are transitioning from timber to vinyl flooring over a threshold.

My advice would would be a threshold wide enough to span the area. That will, on the balance of probability , be a custom item.
