I've just installed a new light fitting using a junction box as the fitting only had 2 terminals.

However after tripping the fuse box with the wrong connections all seems with the circuit upstairs BUT the light switches (I have one downstairs and one upstairs as it is a landing light) don't work.

What have I got wrong? or have I blown something elsewhere in the circuit?

What did you connect where in the JB?

And what did you change/move/reconnect to stop the MCB tripping?

It's possible you've b*gg*r*d the switches.
