( HELP )It WONT EMPTY HOOVER QUATTRO 1100 AS( help )

I'm having a nightmare , washer is running fine apart from trying to empty .
All of a sudden it wont drain or spin.
Washer now full of cloths and water...arrrgggg help

had this with my own washing machine a few months back,even had the thing upside down trying to figure it out asked at the repairers what it could be they recommended a new pump,sod that i thought looked again and it was ONE OF THOSE SOCKS THAT KEEP DISAPERING had somehow got inside the waste pipe of the machine,duely removed and back working,so check yourself before parting with any cash.
