Help! Kitchen mixer taps have stopped working!

A while ago the cold tap on the mixer in my kitchen stopped working. Yesterday the same thing happened to the hot one too. The tap will only turn a fraction of a turn and at first only a trickle of water came out, now there's nothing!!
Is this something that is easily fixed?

How old are taps? You can buy reviver kits from most plumbers merchants which are an easy fit.
