Hi there,
At the bottom of my garden I have a workshop made out of concrete blocks (the heaviest ones).
The bottom row of blocks ( above internal floor level but below external ground level seem to be letting water through around the base.
This has only happened once in 15 months after lastnights downpours.

Is there a product I can use to waterproof the inside of the blocks to stop this? I can not get to the outside of them now.

not sure if ot would do you any good, all it means is that your blocks will sit in a pile of water, why cant you get to the outside of them? you could then put a dpm next to them, got a shovel?

I have built a solid structure all the way around the wall so it would be an enormous task to do this, believe me.
I am wondering wether that much water could penetrate through the blocks,i'm talking say 6 pints sitting on the floor this morning????
The only area of the blocks that shows damp is say the bottom 2 "and thats only across a single area of about 7 feet

i should say its all the ground water seeping in, you could alwyas opt to put a drain inside?

if you seal bricks on inside all that will happen is water will rise to a point you havent sealed and come in taht way (within reason)

What sort of product if any are you aware of? for applying to the blocks that is.

That's why you have water coming through the foot of your wall! Is the "solid structure" abutted to the existing wall? Is the "solid structure" 6" below DPC level? When you built this solid structure assuming it is in direct contact with the existing wall and not 6" below DPC, did you put a vertical DPC/ synthaprufe between the two?

If any one of these questions is answered wrongly, then that's your problem.
