I have a potterton puma 80 combi the problem I have is if I turn on the hot water nothing happens the pilot light is on but it wont fireup can u advise thanks
has this just started or have you had any work done. It's probably just a pressrue sensor which needs replacing but for example if the mains stoptap is turned down that could be the cause
If itisn't firing for HW but your CH is working, the flow switch isn't doing it's thing. If you drop the front panel(s) so you can see in to the pcb, there's a red light which should come on when HW is drawn.
If not, then down to the left there's a brass thing aabout 80mm diameter with a hexagonal shaft about 30mm long going to the right. On the end of the shaft there's a microswitch. Something could be stuck, seized, had water leak into it, etc.
