i have a WB greenstar 24i which is just over a year old.

have recently tried to install an independant thermostatic programmer (didgistat +3) so we can operate from the hallway.

since trying this the central heating has not worked.

i have followed the instructions on the thermostat but the heating does not fire up.

There is no problem with the hot water supply.

Please help

Sounds as though you have wired it incorrectly, either in the receiver or at the boiler.

Have you kept the original timer fitted and if so have you set it to constant?

i have returned everything to its original settings and removed the new one to try and get us back to square one but still nothing is happening.

i also tried taking out the original timer and just using the new independant thermostat.

is this wrong? the instructions weren't so clear.

Also replaced fuses but no joy.

Do you have a multi meter? You need to trace where the power is getting to.

Have you tried linking out the wires so no programmer is in the link at all?

thanks - we will try doing this.

we tried taking both stats out but it didnt work - maybe we didn't do it properly

just noticed a broken link pin / connector but to be honest have no idea where it would have come from. there is only one currently in the wiring - could this be the problem?
