Help on Leaking Gutter Joint

Hi

Some cowboy has installed my guttering and cut gutters too short at a joint so that the joint splits and leaks. Any ideas on how to fix this - apart from new gutters. Tried usual mastic sealant etc.

If it's plastic guttering, it maybe best to cut another straight connector somewhere so the gutter will be on the expansion line of the connector although you can use roofing gutter sealant but I think you would be wasting your time.
