Hi,
A while ago we used HG mould remover on our bathroom ceiling. It worked a treat. However, despite rinsing it off, the paint has now peeled off in places. We've tried sanding down and repainting several times but the new paint just peels again. Any idea what we're doing wrong or how to fix this please?

Yes in places it's back to bare plaster
Bare plaster will nearly always need a mist coat to allow new paint to adhere - or else it may peel off as you have described.
Instead of a mist coat, you could use a product such as Zinsser Gardz primer, this would give a good base coat, even if there was any residual contamination.

Another vote for Zinsser Gardz, the work of the devil, amazing stuff. Available at Brewers at a sensible price too if you have one local to you.
