hello people can any body help i have a ferroli combi 77cf works fine excecpt when the hot water tap is opened half way for a while the boiler cuts out ( other words it overheats)

This is quite an old boiler!
However, I think that it does have a temperature control system on the DHW with an NTC sensor and this has probably failed.
Before blindly changing it you should measure the resistance and hopefully you will find it is open circuit.
