A few what :?: Beers :?: lol

Assuming you have checked the obvious stuff ie. pressure up to 1.5 bar

Check flame sensing first Usually the piezo ignition and flame sensing are on the same probe. Check integrity of wire and that flame reaches probe ok.

Then check that the tube from the APS connects to the flue at 90º to direction of the flue elbow [if fitted]

I know this may seem illogical but change the CH thermistor first. If I am wrong and it isnt the problem this time then it will be next time if you don't change it.

Try that and post back

The boiler fires up and goes out after a few seconds and then fires again, you can hear and see the spark,
have checked the netral and earth, which is ok, and the h.t. leads they are fine, the guys at ravenheat are saying it is the pcb, just want to make sure before I get one,
any ideas guys

thanks

Theres so many things to check and you havent answered all of the questions I asked.
I did start writing a list of things that it could be then when I got up to 9 items I realised that it would be better for you to either risk putting in the rather expensive pcb or call in a competent engineer who could approach the job with some knowledge and familiarity of whats going on and hopefully get to the root of the problem.
I carry spare pcb's in my van because I work on a lot of Ravenheats. They usually only gets used to rule them out as a problem. Ignition PCB's dont go too often and the main PCB hardly ever goes. Dont expect everyone else to carry them as I do.
